Embracing the Love of God, Pt. 2

Hello, Overcomers! Great day, right?

So, let’s talk about it. Many of us can’t fully wrap our minds around the love of God. We are comparing His love to human love.

You’ve been dropped my those who told you they would be there for you. You’ve been left without explanation. You may have even been told, “I don’t want you. Never have and never will.”

Maybe they never said those words, but they treated you with disdain and disrespect. You felt like an outsider in your own home. Maybe you felt like your parents didn’t give you what you felt you needed.

Guess what? Maybe you were the person dishing out disrespect and dishonor. Maybe you made a promise to a “friend” and reneged on your promise.

With all this clutter and reference of love in our minds, it’s hard for us to fathom that God’s love surpasses anything we could even imagine.

I’ll say it again, His love is so strong, it has the capacity to heal every part of you.

Thought for today:
I want to challenge you to sit in the thought of the love of God. And (you know how I do), remember that his love is so intense and so awesome that he won’t allow you to suffer alone.

In light of the suicides that we have witnessed this week, I’m asking you to please reach out to someone. You don’t have to suffer alone. There’s help for you.

  • You are worth it.
  • You are needed.
  • You are loved.
  • You are enough.
