You’ll Get There

Good Wednesday, Overcomers! I pray that you are having a great day so far.

This morning I am on a plane, and one thing I’ve never done is take pictures as the plane ascends and travels. I’ve also never ridden on the very last row.

As I’m typing this, we’re about thirty minutes into the flight, and while we didn’t leave on time, the pilot just announced that we will get there early.

As I look down on the land, it would appear that we aren’t moving much. The landscape almost looks the same.

What’s the point? I’m glad you asked.

Dealing with mental health issues or life in general, you may feel like you either got a late start or that you are not making progress.

What I want to remind you this morning is not only are you making progress, but you will make your destination on time! You may even get there early!

Every time you make a step to improve your life, every time you get out of bed and try again, every time you encourage yourself and/or someone else, you are making progress.

Thought for today:

Every time you make a move toward your goals and every time you bow your head in prayer – you are making progress.

“I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.” Philippians 3:12‭-‬14

Don’t give up in the process.
