Happy Friyay, Overcomers!!! Looking forward to the weekend? Yes, me too.
I wanna talk to you about something: condemnation. Condemnation steals you of joy, peace, and hope. God did not call us to condemnation, He calls us to repentance. Once you realize you are in the wrong, repent. Repent means you leave that thing and move toward the right thing.
Beloved, do not, I repeat, DO NOT beat yourself up, do not be overcome with grief and sadness. Make it right and move on. Do not rob yourself of precious time.
How do I know? I spent many years walking in defeat and guilt. I thought to myself, “But I am guilty. I did that, and I willingly did it, knowing it was wrong.” Have you ever said that to yourself? This is not the life God intended for us to live. Live, my sister, my brother. Just repent and turn from it. No condemnation. Besides, your sin bill has already been paid.
Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. Romans 8:1, AMP
Thought for today:
One of my best lessons when it comes to condemnation came from a person who doesn’t go to church. She said something along these lines: “Build a bridge and get over it. What’s hard about that? It’s too much to do.” Wellll…(humph)
It’s the weekend! The weekend is for fun!
