Good morning God.
Thank you for another beautiful day.
I proclaim that today will better than yesterday.
I proclaim that today; my self-awareness will increase.
I know who I am and who’s I am. I know that I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
I brought a smile to your face when I opened my eyes this morning because I am the apple of your eye.
Today I will speak to mountains they will be removed.
I will declare a thing and it will come to pass.
I will be productive, compassionate and fierce.
I will love me as much as you love me and reject any negative words spoken over me, to me or about me.
I was born to rule!*

Good morning! Happy Tuesday! Thank you for joining me again today.

I want to talk to you about declarations and affirmations. What you say to yourself is important. This is one way to defeat and overcome the negative chatter in your head. The declaration/prayer that is posted above is from an author that I really love. When I read this part of the book, it took my breath away. Then, I began to research about affirmations and I also heard a few people speaking on them.

I’m going to list a few of mine as an example. I have them posted on my vision board in front of my TV, and they are in my phone. What I do is I set a meeting on my calendar, and in the notes of the meeting is an affirmation. It reminds me of who am and what I want to be. You don’t have to do it like this, but I would like to encourage you to come up with creative ways to be reminded of your affirmation or declaration.

For example, whatever you are struggling with, affirm yourself of the opposite. For me, I don’t think I’m cute – I mean, at all. So, one of my affirmations say “I am beautiful.” I just want to encourage you to try it. Give it at least seven days. See how it goes for you. When you get up in the morning, state your affirmations over yourself. Let me know how you feel at the end of seven days.

Sample of a few of my affirmations and declarations:

  • I am successful.
  • I am somebody.
  • God loves me and accepts me.
  • I love myself.
  • I am healthy body, mind and spirit.

My thought for today:

I saw a post once, and I changed the words. These are the words: Tell the negative committee in your head to sit down and SHUT UP!” I changed the words a bit to say: “Tell the negative committee in your head to GET OUT!” Either way you say it, you have to tell them. All. The. Time.

See ya tomorrow!
